Alex and Rosie have been best friends since
they were five. They played, went to school, kept company and celebrated
birthday all the time. They even knew each other with an eye contact or a
smile. Although they are not in a relationship, it is clearly that no one can
replace each other in their mind.
But speak to LOVE, Alex and Rosie don’t

understand us most, who can see our inner beauty, and who can tolerate all little
faults in our lives. But what if we miss the right one all the time just as
Rosie and Alex did? Life is a mix of choices, in which choosing this one means
losing the others. We all have to make our own choices, and be responsible to
ourselves. It not only applies to love, but every phase in our life. Sometimes
we have to risk something in order to achieve our goal.
To me, the best character of Rosie is to
never give up. No matter what happens to her, she always adjusts herself to the
situation and looks at it in a different perspective. She’s never defeated by
any obstacle in front of her and never stops pursuing her dreams however far it
is.
“Love, Rosie” is not only a romantic movie
that can easily make you cry and laugh, and occupy your mind for weeks after
watching it; it teaches us to cherish what you have and fearlessly pursue our
dreams.

movie “Love, Rosie” was great. For
example, “High Hopes”, “Start Again”, “Take me back to the start”, “Love me like you do”, “Alone Again”, and “Use Somebody”. I love “Use Somebody” the most, because I think it was the perfect song
to interpret the movie. Though many people love me, they are not you. Everyone
in the world is all looking for someone to love himself/herself, and no matter
how far we go, we will find the right one. It is never too late to fall for a
mate.

Sometimes you don't need to change what you
are to satisfy others, to meet the social standard for “beauty” or “perfect”,
there will be the one to appreciate what is inside of you and what you really
are. Maybe to the world you are just one person, but to that particular one
person you can be the world.
Crying for those who underestimate us is a
waste of time. We can't be defeated by those who hurt our hearts and don't care
about it at all. The best thing to give them back is to be a better person for
our own sake. We all have to love ourselves more before giving love to someone
else.
The most interesting thing about this movie
is that Bridget Johns met the same Mr. Darcy in the classical romantic movie Pride
and Prejudice and it’s the modern version of it. The pride of Mr. Darcy makes
the girl (both Bridget in this movie and Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice) have
prejudice upon him, and in the end they can’t help but love each other.
It’s nearly impossible to have such a
gentleman in the reality to fall in love with such an ordinary girl who doesn’t
have a perfect body and always does some silly things like us. However, what is
good about watching movie is to indulge ourselves in the perfect romance!

Words can be magical. They can be the
connection between two different centuries, connecting strangers from various
corner of the world. Words have the ability to lead people to the fantasy, to
feel and touch the imagination.
When it comes to fame, barely anyone can
resist the attraction of it. Rory didn’t intend to copy the book written by the
old man, but he couldn’t turn away the opportunity to succeed, to enjoy the
benefits brought by famous. However, this kind of success didn’t bring him happiness.
He not only stole the book of the old man, but his whole life. Rory has to
carry this mistake to live the rest of his life, to be responsible to his own
choice. We all have to choose from time to time, and the most difficult thing
is to bear the result of the choice.
The structure is the most important element
in this movie, which makes it so special. Three men, three generations, three
stories overlap with each other. The author Clay told the story of another
author Rory (or Clay himself) writing the story written by another man. Clay
can be the old version of Rory, or just the author who told the story of Rory.
Reality and fiction crisscrossed each other, making it difficult to tell what
is real.

the movie “The
Words”
The voice of the leading singer of the band Imagine Dragons, Dan Reynolds is really
magnetic. There is a power of confidence between his steady but soft voice. The
song Demons starts from Dan Reynolds’s
voice without makeup and acting, and the main idea of the song is to criticize
the greed and desire in human nature. The song is really powerful, and goes to
the peak when Dan Reynolds sings the lyrics “Your eyes, they shine so bright, I wanna save that light, I can't
escape this now, Unless you show me how”
With the rhythmic sound of the drumbeat and the resounding high pitch Dan Reynolds, the song Demons conveys the darkness of human
nature, also gives the hope, telling us that no matter how dark it is, there is
always light inside people’s hearts.
A
group of non-government drumers led by musician Sanna Persson and a conductor
named Magnus start a music attact.They use anything to play music,and take all
the city as their instruments.
This group also make a performance list and plan for it seriously.First,they
ran into a surgery room using body and medical facilities to make wonderful and
unique music.Next,they dressed up like robbers and went into a bank feeding
banknotes into the shredding machine for creating pleasant sound. And then,they
used diggers thumping the ground at the fountain in front of an opera house
making noise and rhythm.These behaviors are so crazy and catching the eyes
of government.As a result, the group is pursued by Amadeus Warnebring, a policeman
born into a distinguished musical family who hates the sound of music.
However,when
Amadeus is arresting the group,he finds himself fall in love with the leader, Sanna.In
the movie,there is a special plot.No matter anything has played as a instrument
by the group, Amadeus won’t hear any sound by them anymore！
So ,what will Amadeus do to stop them?Will he success or the city
will occupy by these insane musician in the end?What kind of different music
will they play next?

Sound of noise doesn’t match my
expectation. The music in the movie is undoubtedly fantastic and the
performances are so creative and cool. However, it doesn’t leave much space for
me to think deeper. I especially don’t like the ending that these talented
musicians ended up doing something they don’t have passion on after
accomplished so many great things. No matter how wild they were, in the end
they have to give in to the reality.
On the contrary, I really like the “tone-deaf”
police Amadeus, who hates music so much that he just can’t appreciate any kind
of music. I can feel how painful and stressful he is to grow up with a genius
brother. In the end he creates an amazing light show without any noise in this
city. Everyone has its own way to enjoy music. Silence is another kind of
music, which can also bring people joy.

movie “Sound of Noise” overturned the way we think of music. In the beginning
of the movie, Sanna was driving on the road while her partner was beating a
drum set in the car. Sanna made up the sound by speeding up, slowing down, or
even driving on different materials of the road. With the rhythm of the drum

In the movie, a group of people decided to give a performance of drum by
using everything out of your imagination, and did not care whether they broke
the laws or not. There were four chapters: Hospital, Bank, Bulldozer and wires.
The performance in the movie was a little like the extension of the short film

the performance is much less than the former chapters. To be honest, I did not
know the atonality music very much, but after watching the “Sound of Noise”, I
gave some thoughts of what is the meaning of music. Music is not equal to classical
music or pop songs; in some ways, music includes all kinds of styles.
In the end of the movie, Amadeus controlled the electricity of the city, and by turning on and off the switch, the sound of the city became unitary. It was quite sarcastic that it was the music criminal group who “destroy” the style we think of music, and made the noise of the city be “music” (There is a saying that the definition of music is to be regular).
In the dictionary of the music criminal group, there was no “quiet”, but they created “quiet” eventually; maybe the director tried to tell us that the rest in the music score is the most powerful “sound”. After all, Music has many styles and faces, and no matter which kind of music you like, it would be unforgettable to contact various kind of music.

The famous actor, Mark Alan Ruffalo,who acts Dan,he has so fantastic acting skills that make audience enjoy the movie so much.We won’t be unfamiliar with his face because he has plenty of representative work like Marvel's The Avengers, Now You See Me and Just Like Heaven.

We all have to move on.
It's a romantic movie beyond just romance; for me, it's more about finding yourself. Begin Again is different from normal romantic movie There is no sex scene, and kisses seldom appear. Instead, it's full of silent moments between people, creating a vague atmosphere for us to imagine and to feel from heart, with the help of music.
Music is the catalyst of a movie. I appreciate how the director told us the story, to illustrate the same period of time from different angles, to make us see how the story came to this situation. The music producer Dan (Mark Ruffalo) and song writer Greta (Keira Knightley) just had a miserable day, and the music made these two desperate people bump into each other's life at the point of their darkest moments, make a cross, and change their lives forever. I like the idea to record songs in every corner of the city, to feel the lives and people, and to actually be affected by the vibration. When you can feel the breath and heart beats of others, and of the city, you can give life to the music.
Music is an important part of our lives, of ourselves; it's also a way for us to communicate, to understand others, and to express ourselves. When Greta and Dan decided to share music, it seemed to me that they decided to trust each other and let the other person step into a really private corner of this person, and try to know each others more.
The core of Begin Again is music. Music is magic, for it can repair broken relationship, can build trust, can create miracle, and can bring love, lives and hopes to people. Greta's song gave Dan new hope, and new goal to pursuit; at the same time she saw through the difficulty of her recent break up with the production of the songs. With the help of music, they supported each other. Also, Dan and his daughter rebuild their relationship through performance together, and finally, Dan and his wife tried to start over again after sharing music together once more.
The most touching moment to me was when Greta finally showed up in her ex-boyfriend's concert to listen to their music which she gave to him as a gift years ago. When he noticed her appearance, his voice became so vivid, and there was joy on his face. when she left, the disappointment was so apparent and the music was dead. In the beginning Greta was touched because he sang the original version instead of the pop song. When the music then turned to the pop song version, she shed tears on her face and left. She accepted the change happening between them and she knows what had been done can not be undone. They are different, and things can not be the same anymore. She just accepted the reality.
Finally, When you fall down in life, what matters is whether and how you will stand up again. However, when two people walk towards different direction, it's hard to turn around and start over again. No matter how hard it is to give up a relationship, what doesn't belong to you is never yours. we all need to let go.

【Lost stars】Adam Levine/ Keira Knightley There are many beautiful songs in the movie “Begin again”, and the “Lost stars” , which has two editions, is the theme song of the movie. The first time you hear the song, you may think it is a little insipid, but when you recall the pure love Dave and Greta had when they first met, and the separate filled with regret after Dave became famous, you will realize what the “Lost stars” trying to say: Although sometimes in our lifetime, we tried very hard to search for the meaning and light up the dark, we still may lose something that we want to keep perpetual. We cannot blame anyone for the loss of love when he or she doesn’t do it on purpose. I really appreciate the sense of responsibility Dave and Greta had in the movie: Every time they made choices, no matter it was to cherish or to give up, they did not make it randomly. There are moments in life that we feel perplexed and grieved, but we still need to move on, just like the lyrics said: find a brand new ending.
【Like a fool】Keira Knightley After Dave and Greta broke up, Greta saw Dave, who was a famous star, sharing his dream which he never shared with Greta on TV. Although Dave disappointed her, Greta‘s love for Dave still remained. Dave chased the rainbow alone, and broke the promise they had made, but Greta loved him just the same. When it comes to love, we all may act like a fool. The song was sung in a light way, and I think it made the song more heartrending, for that the one who loves the other, but the other had forgot their love.
【Tell me if you wanna go home】Keira Knightley In the movie,Greta and Dan came up with an idea to create an album which filled with the sound of the city, and “Tell me if you wanna go home” was one of the song in the album. The lyrics expressed frankly about a girl whose boyfriend was about to leave. “I won’t let your memory haunt me” the girl said, although she still “sleepwalking with the lonely”.
【Coming up roses】Keira Knightley Coming up roses is a phrase which means everything is getting better. The melody of the song is a little like minor key, and the way Keira sang was really lasting appealing, especially at the end of the song. The song tried to tell us: When things happened, do not lose the hope, because everything is coming up roses.
【No one else like you】Adam Levine It was the first song Dave recorded when he became famous. I have heard a quote,” Love dose not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction.” I think in some ways, Dave still loved Greta, but when something passed away, the world can’t be the same anymore. They went to different roads with different directions.
【A step you can’t take back】Keira Knightley It was the song Greta sang when they she first met Dan at the bar. The story of Dave and Greta was not a happy ending, but it is common to see sorry in every aspect of life. I think everything happened had its meaning, no matter the end was good or bad, we grew and learned from the process. Music in the movie “Begin again” represent different stages in our lives, and through the music, we can share the same feelings, touch each other’s soul, and listen deeply to people’s hearts.
