“I like just as you are.”

Sometimes you don't need to change what you are to satisfy others, to meet the social standard for “beauty” or “perfect”, there will be the one to appreciate what is inside of you and what you really are. Maybe to the world you are just one person, but to that particular one person you can be the world.

Crying for those who underestimate us is a waste of time. We can't be defeated by those who hurt our hearts and don't care about it at all. The best thing to give them back is to be a better person for our own sake. We all have to love ourselves more before giving love to someone else.

The most interesting thing about this movie is that Bridget Johns met the same Mr. Darcy in the classical romantic movie Pride and Prejudice and it’s the modern version of it. The pride of Mr. Darcy makes the girl (both Bridget in this movie and Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice) have prejudice upon him, and in the end they can’t help but love each other.

It’s nearly impossible to have such a gentleman in the reality to fall in love with such an ordinary girl who doesn’t have a perfect body and always does some silly things like us. However, what is good about watching movie is to indulge ourselves in the perfect romance!

Music:(By Lisa)

1.      Out of Reach  -Gabrielle

Gabrielle’s voice is a little husky, just like classic Rhythm and Blues. The atmosphere of this song is calm, and can somehow ease your mood. People said “Out of Reach” is one of the classic love songs of love movies.

2.      Killin’ Kind  -Lynne Shelby

This song is amazing. Lynne Shelby is a great singer with a great voice. I felt like see the beautiful firework in the night sky when I heard this song. By the way, the MV of this song is filled with “blue”.

3.      Love  -Rosey

The style of this song is really cool. Rosey sang straightly and freely in a low soft way, and made this song a little gloomy.

4.      Kiss That Girl   -Sheryl Crow

Although the song is a little normal in some way, it is no doubt that Sheryl Crow has a great voice.

5.      Not of this earth  -Robbie Williams

I like this song.J The style and the structure of this song is really great, not to mention the sexy voice of Robbie Williams.

6.      Have You Met Miss Jones   -Robbie Williams

This song is a classic jazz music. You will have a picture of all the celebrities are chatting in the banquet hall when you are hearing this song.

7.      All By Myself   -Jamie O’Neal

This song has many versions. I really enjoy the way Jamie O’Neal sang. To be honest, All By Myself is the only song I remembered I have had heard in the movie. (I forgot others because I watched the movie with concentrated attention.) This song is really powerful and has strong appealing.

8.      Just Perfect   -Tracy Bonham

The song is soft and tender, with a sympathetic mood.

9.      Someone Like You  -Dina Carroll

This song is fascinating. Dina Carroll is good at putting her whole heart into her voice and touching our souls.

10.  It’s Raining Man  -Geri Halliwell

This song is really fervent, like having a parade.

11.  Stop, Look, Listen(To Your Heart)   -Diana Rose & Marvin Gaye

Listening to this song is just like being transported back to the past. This song is interesting and lovely, make me think of the pure time I had.

12.  I’m Every Woman  -Chaka Khan

The song is resounding and full of confidence.

13.  Pretender Got My Heart  -Alisha’s Attic

Like a ghost closing you with little paces, the style of this song is bizarre, and in the background of the song, you can hear someone is talking in a rustling voice.
